Job Description:

As a Mechanical Engineer at Capgemini, you will be a part of the CCS (CAD/CAE) team, working on developing and managing custom NX applications. Your role will involve interacting with designers to understand the design process and developing applications within NX to automate these processes. These applications may range from small utilities to large product-level automation solutions. You will apply SDLC principles for developing new applications and maintaining existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop NX Open applications using C#/Java/C++.

• Create user interfaces using Block Styler.

• Understand and implement OOP and design patterns.

• Configure NX and utilize Checkmate.

• Work with NX modules including Modeling, Assembly, Drafting, and Routing.

• Develop applications within the Teamcenter environment.

• Manage configurations using GIT methodologies like Tortoise GIT.

• Understand mechanical design concepts and expression-based modeling.

• Participate in NX upgrade activities.

• Utilize skills in SQL and Power BI (desirable).

• Customize Teamcenter using SOA (desirable).

• Develop applications using WinForms (desirable).

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in developing applications using C#/Java/C++.

• Experience in developing UI using Block Styler.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.

• Familiarity with NX Configuration and Checkmate.

• Practical knowledge of NX modules (Modeling, Assembly, Drafting, Routing).

• Experience in application development within the Teamcenter environment.

• Strong skills in configuration management using GIT methodologies.

• Solid understanding of mechanical design concepts.

• Proficiency in expression-based modeling and PTS.

• Experience with NX upgrade activities.

• Skills in SQL and Power BI (desirable).

• Experience with WinForms (desirable).

• Experience in Teamcenter customization using SOA (desirable).
